Shortly after this photo was taken, Julian found the problem with the steering ball joint. It was just as well that I had brought the old bits along, which we refitted.
Heading South along the French West coast main roads while avoiding the motorway.
Day 2 was full of things breaking, and this was one of them. Julians Landy suffered and flat tyre not far outside Biarritz.
This was taken from the Landy whilst driving along the French main road North of the Pyrenees.
After scouting out the campsites in the area, we settled on this one.

The view got better as we climbed through the mountains but the weather got wetter.
After a wet nights sleep, breakfast was not much better. Shortly afterwards we said our goodbyes and Julian headed back toward Italy and me and Verena went south toward Malaga.
