Canopy Walk Kakum N.P.

This was the start of the Canopy Walk. As you can see each section is quite long, and the total length of all the bridges is over 300m.

Verena Walks The First Bridge

Verena can be seen bravely setting off across the first bridge. She was nervous but with a little concentration took them in her stride.

Verena, Nervous But Happy

Proving it’s not all bad, with a big smile.

Last Leg Of Canopy Walk

The longest of the bridges and not far from the end. All the way round the views over the park were great.

View From Lake Point Guesthouse

In the distance you can see Lake Bosumtwi, which is a 100m deep and is a popular place to go for the weekend. As it is safe to swim and there are water sports available.

Our Hut, Lake Point Guesthouse

This was the hut we rented at the Lake Point Guest House. Great place and it also had it’s own garden/beach area on the lake side.

View From Piste Near Bui N.P.

Over the other side of the mountains in the background is Cote D’Ivoire.

Campsite Mole N.P.

We spent a couple of days at the park relaxing and watching the animals.

View From Camp Mole N.P.

The view from the camp was great, and you can see the nearby water holes, which attracted plenty of wild life.

Sunset At Mole N.P.

A beautiful sunset to end our first day in the park.

Elephants, Mole N.P.

A group of male elephants, which where busy chewing up one of their favourite trees to eat. We managed to get real close to them, to within around 25m.

Monkey On Bonet, Mole N.P.

Cheeky Monkey! A baboon admiring his own reflection in the window screen of the Landy.
