After the so-called roads in Angola it was nice to be back on Tarmac for a while.
This piste, as are most in Namibia, was in good condition and gave me the chance to enjoy the view along the way.
Everything left of the river is Angola and everything right is Namibia
There are not many kitchens with this kind of view.
A beautiful spot to spend a few days.
An impressive set of falls, with many chutes dropping into the chasm.
There were many large groups of Springbok roaming the park.
I got some good views of many Giraffe, including a family group.
There were also many large herds of Zebra in the park.
What not to do with your Land Rover. I hit a soft gravel patch in a sharp corner, skidded, hit a rock with the front wheel and ended up turning over.
Luckily I was unhurt, and a passing truck pulled the Landy back onto its wheels. I broke the window screen, wing mirror and bent the body in a few places.
The owner of the Cheetah park I visited, kept three tame Cheetahs in his house.
