This was the piste after the border crossing into Nigeria. It was slow going with lots of mud holes and water to cross. Nothing that stopped the Landy though.
There was nice countryside throughout Nigeria. This was the view from the road as I was travelling North toward the town of Jos.
These cheeky chaps would climb in anything they could. I later experienced them at first hand, when a couple snuck into the Landy and stole a couple of oranges.
These were the nice thermal springs at the park. They where just a short walk from the accommodation area, and I spent a couple of hours there floating around. Made the long drive up worth it.
This is the other shallower end of the springs. Around the corner there is also a small beach.
Africans never cease surprising me in the way they move goods and animals around.
After the locals had helped me get through the first mud hole, I thought it only fair to help them in return.
Further down the piste the mud got far worse. It took me and the local driver I had teamed up with 18 hours to drive, dig and winch our way through to the town of Kumba.
Getting the Landy washed down after the long slog through the mud.
