I took me a couple of hours one afternoon to hike up this hill. The view from the top was well worth it, as I sat there for a while watching the paragliders float back and forth.
When I reached the old harbour where I would be sea kayaking from, this was the view that greeted me.
A great day to be on the water. Unfortunately later on the paddle, when trying to surf a wave, I got wiped out and lost my sun glasses.
The most Southern point of the African continatent, 37,000Km + of driving, 260 days on the road, and the half way point for my trip.
I was tipped of I should go have a look at these by another traveller.
They where certainly an impressive set of caves most of which you could walk through.
The end section of the caves however is not for the big of build. In fact at some points you where wondering if you should have had breakfast.
I came to the fabled surf location looking waves, not today I guess .
This is the view fro the Island Vibe backpackers, which is perched on a sand dune at one end of town.
